Si comunica che sono attivi per l'a.a. 2014/15 i seguenti insegnamenti “a scelta”:

Corso di Laurea in Ingegneria dell’Informazione

ING-IND/09 SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY FOR ENERGY (6 cfu, I sem, erogato in Inglese) – Prof. Teresa Donateo

Learning Outcomes:

This is a basic course on applied thermodynamic. The objectives of the course are to present a simplified treatment of applied thermodynamics within the framework of an information and communication technology curriculum and to underline the main technologies for the cooling of electronic components.

After the course the student should be able to:

1) solve simple problems of thermodynamic applied to both closed and permanent flow systems;

2) describe the characteristic of a perfect gas performing a polytropic process;

3) calculate the operating point and absorbed power of a pump or a fan in a pumping/ventilation system;

4) choice the best cooling technology for each electronic system;

5) design a simple cooling system for an electronic component on the basis of its thermal load and field of application

6) describe the avalailable technologies for the production of electricity and perform simple balance of energy flows in power plants.

 

ING-INF/05 CONFIGURAZIONE DI SISTEMI PER LA INTERNET DELLE COSE (6 cfu, II sem) – Prof. Luigi Patrono

Il corso mira ad approfondire protocolli e servizi della nuova generazione di Internet, conosciuta come Internet delle cose. Particolare attenzione sarà anche focalizzata sulla conoscenza di standard e tecnologie utilizzate in ambito IoT, come RFID, EPCglobal, dispositivi mobili per la domotica, WSN. L’approccio adottato sarà fortemente orientato alla configurazione e sperimentazione pratica dei diversi sistemi utilizzati nella nuova Internet.

 

Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Computer Engineering

ING-INF/05 VIRTUAL AND AUGMENTED REALITY APPLICATIONS (9 cfu, II sem) – Prof. Lucio De Paolis

Course goals: The course presents a review of current Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies and provides a detailed analysis of the engineering, scientific and functional aspects of VR systems and the fundamentals of VR modelling and programming.

The course also will introduce to the development and building of virtual environments and simulators and presents some force feedback devices and newer visualization and interaction interfaces.

Will be acquired knowledge in the main application of VR and AR technologies in medicine and surgery, cultural heritage and games.

The learning outcomes Will be the acquisition of knowledge in VR and AR technologies in terms of used devices, building of the virtual environment, modalities of interaction and modelling and design of an AR application.

 

ING-INF/05 ENTERPRISE INFORMATION SYSTEMS (9 cfu, II sem) – Prof. Mario Bochicchio

Course goals:  The main goal of the course is to deepen students’ knowledge on modern design and development techniques for enterprise information systems. In particular, methods and tools for enterprise process design and re-engineering, process workflow and process orchestration, data management for enterprise architectures, data governance in enterprise scenarios, enterprise architecture patterns, enterprise architecture patterns for software development, service oriented architectures (SOA), software as a service (SaaS) and cloud-based software architectures, will be analyzed. All concepts will be experimented by students developing and documenting a software prototype.

ING-INF/01 MICROELECTRONIC DESIGN (9 cfu, II sem) – Prof. Marcello De Matteis

Course goals:  Sviluppare le capacità di analisi e progettazione di circuiti analogici e analogico-digitali in tecnologia CMOS.
